About Me
Hello my name is Mary and I live in Charlotte NC. I have struggled with my weight for many years but I wont ever give up trying to lose weight. I love myself for who I am but I just want to lose weight and be able to keep it off without the up and down yo-yo diets. I am not trying to become a size 6 or 8 I just want to be healthy and comfortable with my body so I can get around without getting tired so quickly and not have aching joints.

Hi Pretty, I am from Georgetown, just don't live there anymore. Thanks for your kind words. I enjoyed one too many pieces of cake and or sliced turkey durning the holiday. Gained a few pounds, but I'm still in it, to win it (smile).

Hey!
Thanks the positive words of reinforcement cause I definitely need them! Your right about the holidays it seems to be the hardest time of the year to watch you weight. I have to say my plan is to eat what I want in moderation and then go for a long walk after dinner! Hang in there girl, sounds like your doing just fine. :)

Hi Mary. Don't get discouraged. You have lost 18 pounds, what a tremendous feat! I would like to lose about 15 more pounds but let me tell you it isn't easy. I have been working out every day and eating really lean, and have only lost 8 pounds! I can't figure out why the loss is so slow. I am only losing like 1-2 pounds a week. I don't believe in fad, crash diets. I am like you and trying to get there through healthy eating and exercise. I want to fit into my clothes that I used to wear before AJ was born.

Prettyface, thanks for the ad.Sometimes you don't have to work as hard at being disciplined because you wind up beating yourself up. You shouldn't punish yourself for temporary weaknesses. Good Luck on your journey!

Hey, wtg with loosing 18lbs, great job. Stay active though, that can be hard to do when it get's cold out. So keep moving.

Yes I am so busy! I'm in the last quarter to finish up my degree in marketing and management. School, working, and the kids leave very little time for anything else. However I have been trying to get my exercise in at least two to three times a week. Good job on your 18lbs and good luck on meeting your future weight loss goals. :)
