About Me
Well, let's see. I am rolling down the hill of life and getting larger and larger day by day. I married the love of my life 3 years ago and since then as my love grows, so do my hips! We have no children, but are looking forward to starting that journey sometime next year.

Hey girlie. Just checking to see how you're doing. Winding down now aren't we? Things are okay here. Just stressed a little about school and work and weight loss. Thank goodness the semester will be over in a month and a half!
Hope you're okay. Miss you!

Okay, I'm understanding now. I think the site is calculating my weight loss since the beginning of the competition because I have been on her tracking my weight loss every week since November of last year. I have lost 4 lbs. since January 16th, but 14 since the Dec. 5th, the starting date of the compeition. That's why it's putting the 14 lbs. in there.

Hello,
Yes, I have lost 14 lbs. since the 6th of January. I have tracked all my weight loss in my journal and have pics of the scale as well. I started this site in November of last year. I have lost a total of 31 lbs. since I started this site. You can look at my pics and scale images in my journal. :)

hey heather that last message sounds rude. promise i didn't mean it that way. hey allie and i were talking and she told me she told you about the new competers starting at zero pounds lost at the time they join the compitition? it seems fair that way. what do you and others think?

Hey Sunshine! Great to hear from you! So far, my 2008 is fabulous -- and I truly hope yours is too. 2007 pretty much was a good negative experience for me, so I am now primed to APPRECIATE good things happenin in 08!!!
Re stayin motivated, I'm pushing through that one myself...7 days on, one day off...6 days on, one meal off...so not bad...Just not enough exercise or cardio for me as yet, but I'll get there. Have some very serious committments to my son right now (will explain later) tying me up (or down!)! I'm tied, even tongue-tied, as you can see!!!
DRINK TONNES OF WATER and flush that system...especially during this flu season...and no starchy carbs after 6 pm for sure... ALWAYS have a healthy brekkie (remember, oatmeal and eggwhites with some great seasoning are the best combo out there)...At the minimum, walk every single day and this will keep up your energy levels. Especially when we get our booties outdoors, it changes our perspective from staying indoors - where too many goodies call us and we justify it by saying we deserve it (when the exact opposite is true: we DESERVE to feel and look good!!!).
I am so busy right now with my son's Review Board Hearing and trying to get him out of that psychiatric hospital where he's stationed right now. Good news is that yesterday, I finally secured FULL FUNDING for his placement into a residential rehab facility, that has 24-7 high-quality life skills workers, occupational therapy, day programmes, physicians, physical therapy, and structured social outings (with a huge equestian and trail park 5 minutes away). Place costs nearly $4k monthly, so I could never have given him that myself. Took 6 years of fighting the system and never leaving anyone alone to succeed, but we got it JUST IN TIME to present to the Board!
So wish us luck, and I will be back online in here shortly thereafter "with a positive vengence" !!!

Hi there! We have never spoken before but you added me as a friend back when we were in one of the same competitions together a few months ago and I had been meaning to reach out to you to thank you and to find out more about who you are and how your weightloss adventure was going. I see that you haven't been to this site in a while... is everything okay? I truly hope all is well. Best regards!--Debbie Henry
