Main Goal
From 351 lbs. my first big goal was to get to 299 lbs. When I passed that, I started shooting for 249 lbs. Eventually I want to get down to 190 lbs. for a total weight loss of 161 lbs.
Previous Diets
I have never tried to lose weight before May 2007 when I started on NutriSystem. I love it but I can't stay on the rest of my life, so now I'm on healthy grocery store foods.

About Me
Hi, My name is Linda (aka Scooby on MySpace) I have been overweight since the age of 10, and I'm now 28. My profile photo was taken 12/2006. I began to really try to lose weight on May 3, 2007, at 351 lbs. I have lost 68.8 lbs. since then. I started on NutriSystem in May, and have lately been weaning myself off their food. I began working out in July and have really enjoyed it. I have noticed a lot of positive changes from losing weight and working out, such as less back pain, and better sleep.
Fast forward a few months....I got to 101 pounds lost but have gained back 21 pounds. On June 5, 08, I needed to start all the way over again, start all my tickers back at zero, and quit slacking!

Just for fun I have added some interesting tips in my "Recipes" that I've come across in WLS from one friend to another. Sugar Problems?, Energetic Drink, and Think Before You Chew.

I revised the instructions -- look at #5 in my Journal and see if it makes sense.

Nope, tried it. It adds a dot on the chart for each day exercised -- missed days no dot. It may be easier to keep a small mthly calendar going. I'm new at this stuff to as you can tell. ~bobi~

Just add 30 minutes for each "x". If you miss a day don't post anything for the day missed and it will place a dot on those days. You can experiment because the info can be edited.

If you exercised 8 days for 30 minutes that is 8 chain links but since I started on the 3rd which is 5 links we both are at 5 links because we are competing with each other.
Occasionally we will compare links to see how we're doing. Did you see the instructions on how to add "the seinfield chain" to your stats? If not go to my home page by clicking on the scale and go to "Journal" you can either print this page or cut and paste any of it to your word processor so that it is easier to follow. Let me know if you need help. It's pretty easy. Thanks for joining and keeping me motivated! ~bobi~

The best you can do for anyone is to thrive fully and be willing to explain to anyone who asks how it is that you are thriving, and what it is that you've discovered—and then, just relax and trust that all truly is well. ~Abraham-Hicks~
You're doing great! Keep it up! Eat healthy and exercise! Have people asking how you are thriving! :)
