About Me

I am a mother of two beautiful children, ages four and two.
I used to be very busy doing lots of outdoor activities ( hiking, biking, running, roller blading, sking, dirt biking) you named it I've tried it. for my son I never lost all the weight I had gained and that's when I would make excuses for my self and from then on I would make excuses ("I'm a mother of two...it's o.k. to be overweight", oh and my favorite was "I'll start tommorrow") Then I saw pictures of myself and really saw what I looked like to everyone else and it's funny because when I look in the mirrow I would convince myself that I didn't look that over weight. Well I've started my "tommorrow" and I'll get there soon!

Looks like you're not too far away from your goal! Hang in there and don't get discouraged by setbacks! Instead, learn from them and do even better the next time!

The best you can do for anyone is to thrive fully and be willing to explain to anyone who asks how it is that you are thriving, and what it is that you've discovered—and then, just relax and trust that all truly is well. ~Abraham-Hicks~

Eat healthy and exercise! Have people asking how you are thriving! :)

I know exactly how you feel...and it's worse when we've done so well previously...kinda feels like we've not only let ourselves down but everyone here as well and, oh boy do I know how that feels! (I’ve gained 27 lbs back) But, I figure, that’s what this place is all about and all we’ve done is shown that we’re just like everyone else and that's not so bad :) It’s very rare to have a fairy tale ending in such a short amount of time when it comes to lifestyle change and I think it helps for others to see that. There are too many of us wearing ‘rose colored glasses’ when it comes to this stuff and it’s just not practical...we struggle and we’re going to continue to do so until those changes stick. AND it could take reaching goal a couple of times before we've got this all figured out...it’s definitely a process. So, even with the gains, you’re an inspiration because you had the courage to come back and continue on down this road right along with us :) AND I just know that we’ll get to where we want to be because we’re defiantly not quitters!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I just started with a personal trainer. I've done 3 sessions and only bought a total of 15, but am hoping to see a difference within that time. I haven't done weights like this in about 6 years!
