About Me

I have recently started swimming laps. Also, I have picked up playing racquetball again. There is a state park 2 miles from my house that I like to take my dog hiking. Very relaxing and great exercise climbing the hilly trails. Amazing to be in the middle of all these acres so close to the congestion of every place else nearby.

Hi, thanks for the friend request! I can totally relate to what you're going through, as my weight gain was caused as a result of a medical condition and the stress in dealing with it. It is a long road, getting back to normal, but you can do it! It's been six rough years for me, and I am just now feeling like myself again. The weight loss was a huge part of it. My cousin just started a public ompetition, "Countdown till Christmas" that you are welcome to join with me! Good luck, and let me know how I can help!

After a divorce, dating and remarriage, bicycle accident (dislocated my clavicle, motorcycle accident, (hit by a man on cell phone who ran stop sign - my motorcycle was totalled - no broken bones nor fractures (thank you guardian angel) but I was bedridden for 2 months and crutches for 7 weeks, I have ballooned up in weight. I got as high as 198 and with 200 right around the corner I finally got motivated to do something. I am down to 182 and want to get to at least 150. I would like to see 130 again was there in 2001.
