Main Goal
My goal is to learn to eat healthy and set a good example for my 4 girls. To feel some good energy each day and not just when I eat sugar!! To feel good about myself, and to feel great when I want to put that summer swimsuit on
Previous Diets
I've done Atkins, and read the Dr. Phil book. I actually did very well with Dr. Phil and would like to work hard on that again. Atkins made my kidneys hurt though :)
Favorite Workouts
I've recently bought an awesome treadmill, and have been trying to walk 5 miles a day, or burn over 500 calories each time I climb on.

Reading, journaling, painting, learning to quilt, spending time with family and friends

I love most music. Loreena McKennit is awesome. Celtic music is very soothing for me. I love to hear some clean hip hop and even more clean rap :) Country is my all time favorite though. Phil Vassar, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts (go dog pound) Martina McBride, Jason Aldeen

The Notebook, Remember the Titans, Anna and the King, Top Gun, and Braveheart.

Hey princess, how are you doing? I haven't heard from you in a little while, everything going okay?
K, here's the deal, you have to lose 20 lbs in a little over 2 months. Lets aim for 2 lbs a week and that will get you there. If you don't lose 2 lbs in any of the weeks, don't be discouraged, sometimes depending on what you do, you can drop like 3-4 lbs in a week. You can do this, I know you can, you were so pumped to start!
Let me know if I can help in any way and just a tip, go for walks, mow the lawn, clean the house or DANCE!! Those help burn some calories :)

sorry I didn't see your second post until I had already posted...I love pilates..I'm trying to do my gazelle every morning to get the energy going and me and my girls (5 and 2 yrs) do pilates every night. It's very relaxing, but you definitely build up a sweat! It is a great alternative when traveling as all you need is a dvd player! Where are you traveling to?

Hey I noticed your message on Jenn's page about you liking chocolate milk. You know, I'm a die-hard chocolate fan too and I get my cravings out by eating sugar-free chocolate candies and believe it or not, sugar-free FUDGSICLES!!! They are so good and they don't taste any different I swear. They are made by Unilever but I'm sure they have more by different companies. I looked them up for you too and found a site that shows the same ones I have, just look up Sugar Free Fudgsicles in GOOGLE IMAGES, they are in a yellow box :) ...
