Favorite Workouts

I enjoy interactive sports, but don't have the opportunity (or time!) to participate in those much. I do enjoy walking/running on the treadmill with my iPod. I would like to get more into weight lifting as a means of toning and slimming down...but not to build enormous muscles or anything!

Things To Do Before I Die

Everything! Live a good life, be a great role model for my kids. Make sure my kids are self-sufficient. Get as close as possible to God before I meet him face-to-face.

Favorite Activities

I LOVE music, reading, hanging out with friends (I am very social), and drinking coffee!

Favorite Music

I love Christian music...Kutless, Switchfoot, Third Day, to name a few...but I also love classic rock and country...pretty much anything really...this is an easy area to please me in. :)

Favorite Movies

I'm a sap. Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, The Notebook. Also Shawshank Redemption, The Gladiator, Braveheart, Bye Bye Love, My Cousin Vinny...and the list goes on and on...

Favorite TV Shows

None really right now. Don't have time for that.

Favorite Books

The Bible. Nicholas Sparks novels. Self-help stuff. I love to read.

Other Interests

Lotsa stuff. Would like to learn to sail someday, for one.

About Me

I'm trying to lose about 60 pounds. I have 4 kids, the older 2 being quite a bit older than the younger 2, and since the last ones were born I have had a tough time getting this weight off and keeping it off! I have decided that I need competition to motivate me and a deadline...or at least something to aim for. I'm hoping I can find the support I need here...please invite me to be your friend if you would like to chat!

hey you! yeah i would love to be friends and get together and work out or go walking! I am busy too because i will be starting school full time in october as well, but hopefully we can work something out! dont get discouraged with your weight loss, i know when i start getting off track i gain back weight like crazy!! hang in there! how do you make your goals? Weekly or monthly? My short term goal is to loose 20lbs by Oct 21st. thats my birthday.

Thanks.. I have continued working hard, but for some reason I keep losing 2lbs then gaining them back.. I'm really getting frusterated, so it's nice to see your smiley face.. Thanks for the hello, and I hope that the scales are nicer to you then they have been to me..

Hey how are you doing? I haven't been able to get to the gym, and well it was holiday baking on Saturday for me and the kids, so I think I've gotten more then enough sugar for a month. I'm kinda expecting a gain but really pray it doesn't happen.. I have to get remotivated.. What bout ya? anything new?
