About Me
I am a mtoher of 2. I have type II diabetes and I watched my mother and grandmother die from that horrible disease so I am highly motivated to get my health under control. I love to exercise but have a hard time finding the time. I love to eat and I love great food. All foods.

You are doing so great! Walking, step aerobics, turbo kick classes...wow! AND another 1 pound loss!!! Your doing great with the WW points as well I see.
I know what you mean by the days start out so well and then peter out. The hardest time of the day for me is around 10pm. That's when I want to snack the most but I think that's because I'm getting tired and really I need to go to bed, not eat. I think that most of my over eating is due to other things and not hunger. I have been pleasently surprised that my exercisisng has seemed to curb my appatite a bit and I don't feel like snacking quite so often.
Anyway, Keep up the great effort! Your doing sooo good! And enjoy your gym membership :-)

Hi Melissa,
Yes, we live just 5 min away from the beach. I love the beach too. I could go there every night if I got home from work early enough. Thats the kind of walking that doesn't feel at ALL like exersise. Good luck at your festival. What type of day spa do you have? Sounds like a fun job.

I'm really pleased that you have found the motivation to get back into exercising and I just know that you can keep going with it. When in doubt, just remeber how good it felt to get back into it. You have motivated me to also keep going so thank you :)
AND grats on the 1 lbs loss!!

Hey Melissa!
We have a day spa in our town and it has work out classes in the basement. They have all kinds of classes and they really fill up! Sounds like your area needs something like that! Good business venture

Hi Melissa!
Diabetes runs in my family too so I know that I am at major risk of getting it also. I will definitely help keep you motivated to get yours under control while I continue running away from getting it. I too cant wait to shop in a regular clothes store. I am so tired of never finding anything I feel attractive in. I want a good pair of "Nice Butt Jeans." Those are a ways away but its just one of the many things I am looking forward to. Good luck on your journey and I will keep in touch.
