Previous Diets

My diet isn't too bad, such that I don't eat sweets or junk food. But my problem is that I love good food and eat large portions. To sum it up, I need to change the calorie intake and practice portion control.

Favorite Workouts

Treadmill for cardio (walking on an incline and alternate jogging and walking), and weight training. I hate crunches but I try to do them 3x/wk.

Things To Do Before I Die

Be skinny again, fit a size 4 comfortably, wear a 2-piece bikini. Travel the world.

Favorite Activities

Spending time with friends and my dogs. Traveling and checking out undiscovered hideaways.

Favorite Music

All kinds...I like variety.

Favorite Movies

Cinema Paradiso, Life is Beautiful, Sling Blade, Juno, Chasing Amy, Swingers...the list goes on

Favorite TV Shows

Seinfeld, Frasier, nature shows (Nat Geo, Discovery)

Favorite Books

The Da Vinci Code, Along Came A Spider, The Outsiders, financial self help books

Other Interests

Foreign and Indie films, musicals, live music, sporting events, playing pool, poker, travel, cooking...

About Me

I'm a single woman who works full time and is a crazy dog lady...I have 4 little dogs. Stumbled upon this site one night and want to use it to motivate me. I am trying to get in shape by working out and eating healthier. Growing up I was very thin, but after college I just never really paid attention to my weight and what I was eating. I've gained about 40lbs since my college days, and being short 5'2" that's a big weight gain.

Way to go! I got your stats this week. You averaged over 40min of exercise, more than .5mi and over 6.5 8oz glasses of water a day! You go girl! LOL Keep it up. Fat will be running scared and the lbs will be slipping away in no time. Up the water intake so you average 8 glasses daily and post the new weight. Other than that, woohoo! So proud! -P

Doing great! I see you averaged 40min of exercise a day! Woohoo! Even tho you didn't post your weight this week the exercise will make you feel soo good about what you're doing! Don't forget to drink lots of water! they say to take your current weight, divide it by 2 and that's how many oz of water you should drink daily. (example: 150lbs/2= 75 then 75 is the # of oz of water you should drink.) Keep it up and don't forget to log in your weight and # of glasses of water. Those things are important to your success! I meet with my trainer 2x/wk. I probably need more. LOL I think he's a cutie too! I may be married but, sistah, I'm not blind! *Laughing hard*
I have to say that I pigged out on Chinese food on Monday! Ugh! what is it with this uncontrollable desire to eat everything on my plate when it comes to Asian food?! Kung Pao Chicken, white rice and egg drop soup. Over 900 calories in one sitting and I didn't even eat my eggroll! LOL *whimpering some*. Can't be the good loser that way! Keep your fingers crossed that I have a better week! Thanks!

Girl, doing great! Try and increase your water intake!!!! That'll help. Acording to your stats you're only consuming 4.86 8-oz glasses a day. Other than that, you're on the path to success! Keep up the good work! -P

HEY!

Your graph is also moving in the right direction. Congrats and keep it up. I am finally back to my starting point (how embarrassing!) after two weeks. At least I'm now ready to make some progress.

I don't know about you, but I find weekends to be really difficult. I usually end up gaining back whatever I lost on Mon-Fri. I'll have to maintain my momentum this weekend!
