name is manda.
i think ive been overweight all my life.
i am currently losing weight the "right" way. . . working out 4-5 times a week.
im about to graduate and become a elementary school teacher.
i love kids.. . . i dont have any myself at the moment.


As of January 2008, i have made huge changes in my life. I completely gave up soda and started working out, my diet hasnt been stricked. . . i just eat smaller portions. At the beginning of the year i weighed 247.4, right now i am at 233. Im slowly taking step forward towards my goal.

Hey! So I havent been on in a LONG while and a friend of mine just reminded me I had this, and now my sister has one too... so I will try to be better at it!

How has your weight loss been going?! Mine is okay, have hit a few bumps in the road but I am getting there slowly!

Hey thnx for the add.. Been gone awhile but I'll be updating soon as I'm currently trying to catch up on everyone's journals.. This site's a good place to be, tons of motivation to do well. Hope you are! I saw your goal and all I can say is, GET THERE GIRL!! It feels so freakin' good and I totally want you to feel that way too!! I finally hit my sz12, and it was SO awesome to get out of the 20's...and then the teens... and now, even tho I've still got more to lose, I can say that I don't absolutely HATE my size. Feels good. Can't wait for you to get there too!

Hey Manda, how goes the week? When you first start out it's hard to get through one full week without falling off. You eat one thing you shouldn't eat and you think oh well this day is shot! So you try to eat everything bad for you that you can think of so you can start all over the next day. We're not perfect. I eat things I shouldn't eat all the time. Instead of blowing the entire day I TRY and I stress TRY to make the best of my slip up by exercising a little harder. Keep up the good work!
