Main Goal
Okay. New goal here. I'm back up 7 lbs...still 20 less than when I started. I'm going for 12 before Thanksgiving. That would be 180 lbs which was my sophmore weight in high school.
So go the best laid plans of mice and men. I'm all the way back up to 200 lbs. I haven't had the time to exercise. Now I don't thnk I can afford not to. So my goal of 12 lbs has become one of 20. Let's try for 2 per week until Xmas. I hope to be down 10 before the end of the year and down another 10 by Spring.

About Me
Always up for a walking or hiking partner in my area. I like the foothills between Pleasant Grove and Provo Canyon.
Been nursing a goat back to health for the past two months and now she's back to 100%. I should have some time to get back into an exercise routine.
You're on glassguy. Thanksgiving or bust.

Hi! Thanks for popping in on me. I haven’t been well for a little while now but I'm on the mend. How is the maintenance coming along? This is the bit that can really get hard...keeping that scale steady is a challenge all on its own.
I still have another 14 lbs to drop before reaching my ultimate goal of 140 lbs...but I’m only 1 pound away from hitting the far end of my healthy weight range! How neat is that?! I think I’ll stick around here on WLW for a little while once I do hit my goal target, just until I’m used to the changes that I’m going to need to stick with so I stay at that weight. I'm thinking that I may even join a challenge, with the goal of not gaining or losing...see if I can end it with a 0.0 loss on the leader board. With the way this weight loss thing works, it could be some time before I get to that point...although I'd love to get there by Christmas.
The longer we do it the easier it’ll get, and eventually we’ll be where we want to be without much effort at all...well, that’s the theory :)

Do we still have the pleasure of your company after you impressed us with your fancy schmancy goal-reaching?
:0) You're a rock star!!!

You know, I've had a yoga DVD for almost a year and never even opened it! That's really bad huh?. Lol. Every now and then I think about giving it a shot but something seems to distract me. I'm going to do it though and I'll get back to you when I do! Yes, you WILL hear from me again. Haha.

Thank you sooo much for the encouragement. I see that you've had a little gain since I last stopped by. My loses had begun to slow down over the last two weeks or so and I'd actually had a little gain myself earlier this week. Hopefully I've nipped it in the bud. As you know, the ride can be a bumpy one so stay positive and don't sweat the small stuff as my mum would say :)

Hi. I saw your journal entry in Adventures in Health and I just had to come on here and congratulate you for all the effort you have put in to get where you are today. You have done so very well and you have inspired me to keep going with my own goals, so thank you :)
I see that you only have another 3 lbs to go before reaching your new goal weight! That is just fantastic....your soooo close!

Thanks for commenting on my journal :0)
You'll be proud to know that I went to the gym that very night and went for a bike ride that very next morning. All I had to do was shake myself out of the funk I was in. Once I take a break, no matter how short or long, it's sooooo hard to start back up again. But - I DID IT! Now I'm back in the game :0) Thanks for the encouragement.
