  • Cut the crap, you know now is the time to lose that weight. I'm up for a challenge and ready to motivate others. I'm tired of being overweight and I'm sure you are too. Let's all work together and get rid of our excess weight. And a little healthy competition doesn't hurt. :-)

    Rules:
    1) Update everyone on your weight loss at least once a month
    2)Show proof of weight loss. This can be a before and after picture, or a picture showing your feet on the scale. If you can think of other ways to show proof please do. I'd suggest giving the 'peace sign' in your pictures so we all know you just didn't download a random picture of feet on a scale. Hey, you never know.
    3) This is a competition for money. Each contestant contributes $40.00. The prize will be the total amount contributed. Winner takes all.
    4) Be on the honor system, lose weight healthily. Eat right and exercise more. You're only cheating yourself if you choose to lose weight in an unhealthy way. Be safe, go to a doctor if you want your weight loss progress monitored.

    Share tips:
    Yes it is a competition but we're all here to motivate each other. If you learn a certain exercise gives you a boost of energy, or a certain healthy food staves off your hunger let us all know. If someone reaches a rough spot give them support.

"Before" pictures are finally up...just started a new exercise & nutrition program. Now I just need to keep it going! Hope everyone else is doing well.

Well, it seems that good things come to those who wait. I exercised for not all together too hard yesterday, but I think the 2 hours helped me to get back on track since I stayed steady the previous day.

It seems birthday parties are the death knell for me. But I will prevail. I gained weight back this week. But next week, down, down, down!
