Happy Birthday Eve! I hope your birthday was great! And I think you're right about God's prompting. I just want to be here for my children whether I'm overly cautious or not you know?
Mary, you sound very motivated and ready to get back to where you were. Good luck and you know I'm here for you. You're weight may say one thing, but I've seen you at this weight, and you carry it very well. You're not only a great mom, but a hot one as well! As the weight comes off, you'll just be a smokin' hot mama!
You've got to love Y's. There will be one built a few miles down the road from my house sometime soon, and you can bet on it Sandy, that I'll be going! Give the kids some time to play w/ others, and we get out stress free exercise time. Congrats on saying no to the pie and good luck on getting into the 160's. You're so close! I started my weight loss at 164, and it does feel good to get to the next "level" of weight so to speak.
Anyway, off to exercise and then get myself ready for an evening out w/ my husband. No beer for me (calories!!!) but I'll break out the diet soda! :O) And then out again tomorrow evening w/ my husband and best friend. This will never happen again! Normally we go out once in a blue moon... But I'll enjoy it while I get it.

wow amber took 3rd place!!! way to go girl, you're doing so good!
well hubby and are going to L.A. in 12 wks! ( i won a trip a few months back!) and are 10 yr. anniversary is at the end of sept. (we'd go then, but he'll be working an outage) amyway i'd like to be 170 by then!!! i think it's do-able if i work my butt off, i'm still staying on track good, and hopefully by sat. i can be the 188 that my stats say i am, i'm 191 right now but i did manage to climb up to 195.6 (uggg) but on track ,today will be day 6!!
nov. will be a busy month for me, and as a mom of 6 i won't know what to do w/ myself. i'm going away over night the 7-8 of nov. to a christian mom's conference (hearts for home), then l.a. the 14-17th, then off to sophia's vow renewal and i want to look HOT for it all. i had bubby take my 1st bikini pic. uggg, i really have motivation now. i'm off to a good start i just did 42.5 min on the elliptical and yes that .5 min countes ok, i'm off to be mom for the day now!

morning all-
YES Sandy- i own that book and it is the best. made carrot cake muffins w/ cauliflower and carrots and dried apricots and prunes, i promise they where good(probably won't make them again only half of the house liked them, i'm gonna make oatmeal zucchini cookies today. (everyone did like those) i also did a pumpkin cake last night which is everyone's favorite.
sandy- keep it up w/ me and you'll be in the 160's in no time and i'll be back to the 180's.
i started tracking pts. w/ w.w. again ad have been on track still , i'm, so happy! i'm off to the gym this morning, couldn't get up early the baby was up for some odd reason twice last night ( i think she might be getting molars in.
well i'm off hope everyone does well this wk. for our monthly updates.

WOW!!! Michael Phelps must be really doing a number on our brains because I was thinking of joining the Y with my mom so that I can swim some laps while someone watches my boys. ( I think it's free)
Mary, Jessica Seinfeld wrote that book, "Deceptively Delicious" which is ways to sneak things in your kids meals!! You probably already have this book but thought I'd put it out there for anyone else who has trouble feeding their kid!
ANyway, I have been having a good couple of days! I went out to dinner at the Beach tonight to meet up with my grilfriend who is here visiting from Hawaii. I had a good dinner but did munch on only a couple of fries. My husband had this HUGE slice of KONA PIE. He thought I was going to share it with him but I said NOPE!!! I was actually down below 172 today and I want to see that scale keep on going down below the 170's!!!
160's here I come.

Good call on getting inside, Sophia! I had a similar experience a few months ago when I started running, but I was on a gravel road, and he wasn't delivering newspapers.(I wrote about it in my journal way back in April or May, if you want a little chuckle!) We have that lovley intuition (God's prompting) for a reason!
Mary- good for you and your back on track day! You seem to be doing alot of exercise each day! Maybe if I picked up the pace a little, I could start losing again! BUT-- tomorrow's my birthday, and I'm having a GIANT cheat day! So, it'll be back on track for me on Thursday! Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Hey All! Just did my run this morning, I cut it short, there was someone delivering newspapers, and call me paranoid, I just didn't want to be out at the same time as him. So just like you did Mary, I'll do laps at the pool today. And yes, eat right. At least there isn't anymore b-day cake left from my daughter's party this weekend! ;O) Anyway, hope this week is good to everyone!

O>k> ladies- where is everyone????? hope everyone is doing ok, i just got off the elliptical, it would of been more than the 30 min. i did do but the puppy had an accident in her kennel, so we had to take a bath and clean the cage ,there was no way i was gonna let that wait, maybe i'll get 45-60 min. in tomorrow. did do a bit of everything yesterday, weights, abs, 15 min. elliptical (all i had time for) then i went back to the gym last night and thought, hmmm i'm gonna swim laps. well i did grow up on a lake and i "swim" w/ the kids from time to time (which means i hold them and play w/ them) anyway i could only do 10 mins. of laps. i'll definitely have to start doing them more to work myself up, so i can do a mini-triathlon when hannah's in kindergarten.
anyway, i'm off for the day, i've gotta make muffins w/ squash in them. (my 3 yr. old hard eats veggies very , and yes sophia we do force him, but that's only so fun for so long.) so if i can sneak them in w/out him knowing hmmm i think i'm on to something.

WOOWHOO.. I am right back to where I started when I first joined this website after the first baby!! Okay, so I am 171.6... only 1 1/2 lbs away from getting outta the 170's...and I am back up to 3rd place!! I will tell you that dropping down makes you get more competitive!!
Mary girl... so nice to hear your voice and I will be waiting here in L.A for you and your skinny self and we can take bike ride or skate at the beach
okay.. so my other computer is down and I am on my mac... I have a guy in my computer right now trying to fix it. If anyone ever has any problems let me know and I can give you this guy's info. The guy is in L.A but the guy fixing my computer is in Hawaii right now.
