Our Mission
Huck PAC is founded on the principles that make America great: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Our Republican Party embodies these ideas and is best suited to lead America forward.
Huck PAC is committed to helping Republicans regain control of the House and Senate, regain a majority of governorships and elect John McCain as the 44th President of the United States.
Huck PAC will support Republican candidates who are passionate advocates for tax reform, a strong national defense, real border security, life, the family, less government and individual liberty.
Huck PAC will identify candidates who hold firm to these principles, promote their campaigns and financially support their efforts.
DAY ONE:
I would like for everyone to weigh in tomorrow and record your weight if you haven't already. Don't worry. You may mark your weight private. The graph will record the pounds lost by each competitor. Weigh in as much as you want. I think it's best to weigh in once a week, but if you want to weigh in more than that each week, that's fine.
We are on an honor system in this competition. You are welcome to post before and after pics if you wish, but you don't have to.
Help others and yourself by posting healthy recipes in the recipe section. You can encourage each other by commenting on their profile pages. You will have to first add the competitors to your friends list.
Another thing that you can do to keep track of your progress is to write in the journal section. You might suggest some things others can do, tell what works for you, or record your ups and downs each day/week.
DAY TWO:
Mike Huckabee is the author of "Quit Digging Your Grave with a Knife and Fork." Today, he appeared on FOX and FRIENDS. He gave some good tips. Here is a link to the clip:

Hello, all! I don't weigh in very often because I get discouraged if the numbers aren't there even though I'm following the program. The scale at the Y showed me down another nine pounds for the month (and people are commenting on my weight loss). The big payoff will be when my doctor doesn't call me a diabetic any more--I'm already off the meds. WHOOPEE!! THANK YOU for starting this group--it's a major encouragement!

I thought this article might be beneficial to everyone...those that don't already drink a lot of water. I've heard that water can help you lose weight. This article has motivated me to try to drink more water.

I'm sorry everyone that I haven't been around...had sick kid, etc. It looks like everyone is doing very well. Way to go. Great job, ken. Your weight is probably steady because you are probably gaining muscle. Great job.

Hi, fellow Huckabee supporters! I need to lose weight, and America needs us to support HuckPAC, so this looks like the right place for me. I'm joining late (May 12) so will post my loss in a week--is that the way to do it? Amyb, thanks for starting this!

I am holding steady with my weight, but not surprised. I actually lost 25 lbs in the 4 months before we started, so I expected it to stay the same or slowly drop. The main thing for me is to exercise regularly. Let's keep going!!
