"The person with a fixed goal, a clear picture of his/her desire, or an ideal always before him/her, causes it, through repetition, to be buried deeply in his/her subconscious mind and is thus enabled, thanks to its generative and sustaining power, to realize his/her goal in a minimum of time and with a minimum of physical effort. Just pursue the thought unceasingly. Step by step you will achieve realization, for all your faculties and powers become directed to that end." by Claude M. Bristol

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan, 'press on' has solved, and always will solve, the problems of the human race." by Calvin Coolidge

Well it has been almost 6 months since I started and my weight loss is a lot less than I want but to keep things positive I agree with what my dietian said.
At least you have learned how to maintain you weight!
One of the major reasons I put the weight back on after 2000 was I never learned to do my maitians of my weight loss. Currently I have maintain my present weight for almost a year which is great, now I just need to do this at a much lower weight...
Maintinance is I believe a harder thing than weight loss. Once you lose the weight, then what. You want to keep it off for you lifetime, for me it has meant a mix of one meal with multiple optifast drinks throughout the day. I drink 1 optifast every 3 hours then have been have a meal in the evenings. Now I just need to drink that 5th optifast instead of the meal and I will start losing the weight.
Everyone have a good week!
