Main Goal

To get fit! I was blessed with tall genes, but was cursed with my Dad's waist and hips. Not to mention, I really haven't done anything to fix it, which is leading me to this. I'm 22 years old, and should be in the best shape of my life. That's definitely not the case...until now. My family has decided to start up a Biggest Loser game between our friends and family members. There's a monthly fee to compete, but the winner after 6 months will get the pot of money. Finally, an answer! I look forward to tracking my progress, and for my friends and family to see it. Let's get toned people!!

Previous Diets

Weight Watchers, Micheal Thurman's 6 Week Body Makeover (works great - but watch out so you don't gain it all back like I did), and various other crazy diets that are just about as healthy as they are effective, which is not at all.

Favorite Workouts

Pilates. I've enrolled myself in spinning, yoga, and stability ball classes this next semester at my college. I might find a new favorite. I've even registered for a hip hop dance class. I'm extremely excited for that one.

Things To Do Before I Die

Skydiving (again), have children, take a trip to Ireland with my husband, travel a bit to other places across seas, and graduate school.

Favorite Activities

Dancing, reading, spending time with my family and friends. I'm so blessed to have the people I have in my life. And lately, I've been painting. Fun and calming. I like it a lot.

Favorite Music

Wow - 80's!!! You just can't beat Michael Jackson, Journey, Def Leppard, Bad Company, Bon Jovi, and all the other great classic rock bands. I also love hip/hop and R&B. It's my dancing music.

Favorite Movies

Dirty Dancing, Last of the Mohicans, The Notebook, Knocked Up, Dumb & Dumber, Grease, all of the Pirates movies, all of the Harry Potter movies, and anything with Johnny Depp in it. I'm sure there are more. Will add them later when I think of them.

Favorite TV Shows

Survivor!!!! Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Big Brother, The Hills, Top Model, Desperate Hoebags, and Rock of Love

Favorite Books

Harry Potter (all), Something Borrowed, Something Blue

About Me

My name is Briana. The obvious traits include red hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. The last one's not so much a good trait. Still, it's me! I'm married to a handsome Coastie and am going to school for a career in the field of Dental Hygiene. Someday I want kids, but I've got a lot to take care of before then. I definitely am looking forward to having a family, though. It's just in the cards for me...

The great thing is that you found something that you like to do on a physical level, whether it be running or videos or classes. I like to mix it up some so I don't get bored. I am also starting the x's on my calendar to make a chain. Each day I workout for at least 30 minutes I get an x in blue and each day I don't go over my calorie intake of 1,200 I get a red x. I think this will keep me motivated and I should be at my goal by my daughters 1st birthday.

A great motivator for me is also summer. I plan on waterskiing again in some tournaments and feel comfortable in a bathing suit.

You are on the right track and seem motivated to be fit and healthy which is the main thing.

You were blessed with tall genes (lucky you)! I wish I was a little taller since my husband is 6'4''.

My main things that helped me out were counting calories and running. I also enjoyed doing the FIRM videos to sculpt some.

You look great already, though.

God is great!!! He works in such mysterious ways, and in the end... it all makes sense. I spent so much time wondering why this and why that... only to find out it was to mold me, and make me who I am... probly still not done.
Its so much easier now though when stuff happens to go, hm... whats god up to now, instead of getting all upset.
I just love it!

Hi, I tried a bunch of diets too, the reason they don't work or only work temporarily, is because "dieting" doesnt release your body of the toxins (which is exactly what fat is) anyway, I found the perfect solution to that... the program i follow actually cleanses your body and replenish it at the same time, not to mention its easy and tastey! so, dont feel hopeless... there is a light at the end of this tunnel! Anyway, I am ready to shed the last 30 lbs... so I could use some encouragement too! :)
talk to you soon!
