Main Goal

New Short Term Goal:
I have once again been bit by the "baby bug". I currently have two daughters, 21 months apart. My husband and I have decided to start trying for baby #3 at the beginning of the year.
My goal now is to lose 20 pounds before I get pregnant. This is a lofty goal I know, but I do not want to go into this next (and probably last) pregnancy over weight. I weighed 175 at the start of my last pregnancy so I am already in a good place in comparison.
My main goal is to lose weight and be a healthy and positive role model for my daughters.

Current reading goal is to read top 100 classic novels of all time, on the Penguin Classics reading list. Have yet to start...

About Me

I have been on this site for awhile now. It has been a very positive thing for me. This time last year, I weighed 190 pounds. I am now at a steady 160. 30 pounds in a year may not seem like a lot, and had my focus stayed steady and strong, Im sure I could have lost more. That, however, is life. You win some, you lose some. I have two beautiful little girls. My oldest is turning 3 in December and my youngest just turned a year in September. I am a truly blessed woman. My kids are amazing and I have a husband who loves me despite my craziness.

Don't worry about the weight gain with your workouts! You might gain in muscle in the beginning, but that muscle will, in turn, burn fat more efficiently and you can eat more and stay skinnier and....MAN! I really need to hit the gym!

Enjoy your holiday as well! I just got back from my daughter's class party and I am STUFFED!!!

You're doing awesome! I'm here hoping that some of your weight loss mojo will rub off on me! I had an early dinner last night and ignored my hunger that came later, so that's the only reason I lost any weight at all!

And Thanksgiving is next week, Lord help us all!

Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by! You actually helped me a lot by reminding me to log my weight. I hadn't done that in about two months at I've gained a few...or eight or nine...

Anyhow! What matters is what I do TODAY. Not yesterday.

You can so lose twenty pounds! You've done so great, by the way! Hang in there and I'll support you if you support me!

Thanks for the add! I just noticed that your goal date is September 21st, which is your wedding anniversary date. I'm actually getting married on the 20th. :)

What program are you on now to help you get to your goal?

Kids certainly can hinder good workouts...I don't have any, but I've had many brothers and sisters and worked in a daycare center...just running after them is workout enough!

I go to school fulltime and work two partime jobs so...finding time is pretty irritating too. My method is to go with a workout buddy (my boyfriend) and go in between classes. It usually works out. 45 minutes to an hour a day out of life isn't too bad. Haha. But yeah, workout buddies rock. My three guy friends from back home have joined the local Y, so I think I might go with them over the summer and keep it up.

I've lost 9lbs so far but I'm definately looking up to you--27lbs! That's amazing! I only have 16 more lbs to my current goal before continuing on all summer.

I'm kind of stumped though because I lost about ten pounds, but I still think I look the same. It doesn't bother me, just kind of confuses me. :D

Hey! Thanks for adding me! It's cool we have around the same weight, give or take a few lbs, and around the same desired weight, and have the same goal finish (I want to be done around the end of September too). :) The only difference is height!
