About Me
Happily married with 3 gorgeous girls. Tired of not living up to my fitness potential. Want to be free of the weight that's holding me back from living life to the fullest.
"My body wants to be thin"~ Jon Gabriel, The Gabriel Method.
I am embracing that. And, I'm gonna SHINE in 2009!
***And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It is the life in your years. ~ Abraham Lincoln ***
This is the link to a new challenge I'm hoping to join, at any rate, it's chronicling my weightloss journey starting September 5/09...come take a look. :o)

Decide. Commit. Succeed!
"Do your best, forget the rest!" ~ Tony Horton (P90X)

Life changing excerpts from "The Gabriel Method" ~
"I started studying my own body. I stopped seeing it as the enemy that just wouldn't listen to me. I realized my problem was not my body, but my lack of understanding how to operate it. From that moment on, I started listening to my body very closely. I also stopped trying to push it around and force it to do something against its will. Instead, I became its student, and as a result, I started learning from my body."
*******************************
*******************************
"I became a receptive student, my body became a highly effective teacher. It taught me why it wanted to be fat, and what I would have to do to make it want to be thin."

so it says you need to lose 2 lbs to get to 60 lbs lost and I need 2 lbs to see a 1 instead of a 2...care to make a challenge?! or are those numbers wrong?

are you starting your P90X today? What time are you working out? If you are free now do it now and then email me after you are done so I know you did it. I'm planning on either treadmill (walking) tonight or X-Stretch if I can't get on the treadmill because of Kevin...I have to make sure I have back up workouts ready. I like working out in the mornings but I can't seem to drag my butt out of bed so I have to plan for evenings with contingency plans LOL. better yet text me when you are done and I will do the same so we know we are working out at least.
How is your eating are you sticking to your gluten free or have you been straying?

I'm okay. Went up a little over the weekend...had a couple of drinks at the Keg on the weekend. I hardly ever drink and so that and the steak and fully loaded baked potato didn't help LOL. I was good the rest of the weekend but the damage is done. I'm mad at myself because I'm so close to breaking that barrier and shot myself in the foot. I really want to do this...so it's stupid that I sabotaged myself once again. urg! But I know I can do this...I've come this far...just need to focus big time this week.
How are you doing?
