Gorgeous new pic, my friend! You look faboo! As for the nursing, sweetie, he's drawing blood at LEAST once a day if not twice. I've decided to nurse him every other meal so that he's still getting the benefit, but I'm able to get a break in between bruisings. He's had the same teeth in his head for a couple of months, but this biting has only been going on for a month now, so I don't buy it. I really just wanted to nurse to twelve months, so this isn't such a giant loss for me. I promise.

I'm sorry you gained a few pounds. If this website makes you feel guilty, you shouldn't come! Seriously. I'm getting kind of preachy, but I think we moms are pretty tough on ourselves, and we certainly don't need one more added stress. Or additional guilt, because I think we're awful about that, too. Take care of you, my friend. I can't wait to see you!

Um, I hate to be anything less than positive, but you asked a question about whether it gets easier, and you deserve an honest answer. HELL NO! This sucks! I'm so freaking miserable. BUT! I'm miserable because I'm trying to do something that my "flesh" doesn't want me to do, and that's always a good thing! God always gives me the grace to escape a situation, I just don't always choose to take him up on it. Sometimes I throw myself headlong into my binge and eat more BECAUSE I know I shouldn't be. If that doesn't make sense to you, congratulations - you're not a food addict. If it does, I'm sorry.

But I keep trucking. I know that at some point I'm either going to give up or finally get it through my skull, but it hasn't happened yet. Crossing my fingers that the latter happens first.

Hiya, Hil! I hear you on the babysitting. I did it for eight hours ONE DAY this week and wanted to throw in the towel! I hope you're recovering nicely.

I have lost 22 pounds! EEK! I wanted it to be 25 by yesterday, but I got side tracked. However, I'm working my booty off for three days in hopes of getting my extra pounds off by Wednesday. I've been working out like a mad woman, and drinking so much water I could fill Brendan's pool in a month! Last week was kind of rough for me because I went on a binge, so instead of working for a real loss, I had to work for no gain! = Þ

But I've been doing this for three and a half months now. You know how you start a diet and say you're going to lose ten pounds a month? Well, I haven't done that, but this is the longest I've ever stuck with it in my whole life! So that makes me think that I might actually make this one stick.

How are you doing?

Oh yeah, and I totally thought you looked DIVINE at your wedding. I'd never seen you look so beautiful, and I wished I could have had such a gorgeous outdoor wedding. And Carmen looked hot, too!

I'm totally going to hate myself for asking, since I can't ever follow through on things like this, BUT! What is a cleansing? More specifically, how do you do yours?

It DOES sound like your mom is speaking in faith! I could do the same thing - one fabulous brother in law, another one on the way!
