Hey, niece, we're neck and neck.....but I see you haven't posted a weight this week; I bet you swoosh past me! I lost a mere 1/4 # this week. hmmmmmmmm I guess I'll cling to the adage that exercising is building muscle and muscle weighs!

Alpha, I don't know what happened to my siblings. Afraid of losing is my guess, or too fluffy to care :-)) However, Craig does like to fly under the radar and doesn't like to share his weight loss war since we (me & the sibs) don't take direction well :-P

CR- I did cut the shrimp in half but it would do well to dice it too. The only salsa I used was the valentina that was in her recipe- its more like a hot sauce and added the heat- tabasc0 wold work well too. If you want more of an entree serve it over rice...

Deb, did you use any salsa? and diced the shrimp as well? Hope you all are well! Take care and love you all. CR

Micki- what is Valentina Salsa Picante? Is it a brand of salsa? Like Pace etc?

SHRIMP COCKTAIL
1/2 white onion--finely chopped
2 avocados-- cut up finely
cilantro--1/3 of a bunch-cut up
6 roma tomatoes--diced
1 1/2 pounds of large shrimp
1 large cucumber--seeded, cut up fine
Valentina Salsa Picante--add to desired hotness
Ketchup--about 1/4 cup
32 oz. Clamato juice
lime juice from one lime
Dice up everything,, I squirt the lime juice over the avocado before adding to mixture. Mix everything together, let marinate over nite. Very good!!
