About Me
I'm 32, mother of 2 wife of 1 (LOL) & a Administrative Assistant in a Community Corrections Facility. I have struggled w/ my weight for over 13 years now. I turn to food when I'm happy/sad/mad/excited/exhausted/lonely or whatever!! Food has been my best friend and my enemy! I am truly blessed to have the man of my dreams call me his wife and I'm blessed with the life that God has given me! I'm finally coming to terms w/ my enemy (food) and working it out day by day, bite by bite!!

Hi,
I just wanted to thank you for your support in helping me get to my goal weight. The next phase in this process for me is to maintain the weight. Someone started a maintenance competition on this site so I joined it. I hope to see you join us soon. Thanks again.

Way to come back with a loss! How are things going for you?

Thanks so much for that. I have been doing miserable, and am having a HARD time finding the motivation I need to get back on track. I am trying to day, but I feel like it shouldn't be such a struggle.

I didn't do great over the LONG weekend, but I have my head back in it this week. I just got back from walking my 2 miles for lunch, and feel great. Actually feel sore, but am trying to convince myself I feel great. Looks like it will be down to just you and me. LOL

Thanks. I busted my butt during the week, but yet again was afraid the weekend was going to ruin it. If this stinkin rain would go away I could get back to walking. :-)

Great job. I have been wearing myself out this week, and probably not really eating as much as I should. I really want to see some results on that scale come Monday.
Have a great weekend!

Hi! Thank you so much for requesting me as a friend on here! I was happy to see that we're in the same competition, it'll be fun. I am really excited about this, and any encouragement I can get will help so much. I read all your journal entries and I see so much of myself in what you have said. Sometimes I feel so frustrated because I will do so well, and I feel great, but then for whatever reason, I get off track and next thing I know I'm even heavier than when I started. It almost makes me feel like not trying anymore at times...not a very warm, fuzzy feeling! I have lost the weight before (about 60 pounds maybe 5 years ago) and I felt so good, looked good, but somehow I put it all right back on...all my hard work down the drain. I still can't believe I did that...I was within 15 or so pounds of my goal weight and I blew it! I am really good at beating myself up too...but that never does me any good, so trying to combat my negative self-talk with a better attitude. Anyway, sorry to ramble on and on, but I just felt that we have a lot in common and thought I'd share. I'm just getting started but hopefully I'll make some progress soon. I look forward to hearing more from you...take care!
